TESTIMONIALS
This Camp has truly provided me invaluable experiences that I believe that has better prepared me to be independent, good role model, caregiver, leader, etc.
It also prepared me for any other jobs, working with people who have disabilities that I would do for my new job!
Thanks so much for providing this camp. Someday in the future, I plan on to be a member and volunteer of the Lions club in my district and encourage the club to donate money for this camp!
My visually impaired daughters just spent 2 wonderful weeks at Lions Bear Lake Camp. Because of Lions Clubs and their donors, the camp was almost free.
There are not many camps that are or are even willing to accommodate to my daughters' needs. Not only does this camp accommodate, it is a camp designed to fit their needs.
All Physically challenged youth are accommodated. This is one thing, you as donors, are making possible for these children and I would like to thank you all.
Our family is so thankful for your camp. It is a wonderful place for our child to be with kids just "like her".
We feel she is very safe and taken care of in every way, in the best possible way.
The Links Program in our school system is a program that links a student with another student that has autism.
Two of our teams participated in your challenge course. Those two teams bonded for the school year, where the other teams did not. Good Job!

Partners with organizations to provide camperships
This is an opportunity for students to apply for funding (up to $250) to attend a summer camp in Michigan. These camperships are open to students with an IEP, in need of financial support, and would otherwise not have an opportunity for a summer camp experience. This scholarship funding is made possible thanks to a collaboration with the Family Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (Family Center).
For more information on the Family Center, please go to www.michigan.gov/familycenter or call 800-359-3722.
